Presidential Politics Back to Basics or Political Deception

We now have an interesting situation being presented to America to determine which way voters should turn. On the democrat side we have an inexperienced senator as the lead Presidential candidate, with a veteran senator as his VP running mate. On the other side we have a veteran senator as lead Presidential candidate, with an inexperienced ex small town mayor turned governor as his VP running mate. Is this a real distinction or political influential ploy?

Democrats and the media pundits seems to be leaning toward Governor Palin being chosen as Mr. McCain’s running mate, is just another political ploy. However if their assessment turns out to be flawed thinking, not only do they run the risk of loosing the presidency but also not realizing the congressional gains that all these wise pundits are predicting. The democrats must be careful to energize and influence the heavy Christian vote to turn out for McCain/Palin.

On the other side the republicans have to careful not to get so confident with the thought that the selection of Governor Palin as the VP candidate, that it don’t turnoff independents. Both the democrats and republicans are presented with a challenge, which is how elections should be. Not with one party heavily favored to win the election due to geography and religious affiliation.

The debates now take on a bigger role than most assumed. The pundits in the media that were so heavily favored toward Mr. Obama have been stunned by the cunning decision of Mr. McCain of Sarah Palin as a running mate. The Democratic Party was somewhat disappointed that Mr. Obama chose Joe Biden not Hillary Clinton. For the American this is a good thing, these candidates will have to vie for each and every vote. No coronation for Mr. Obama and no patriotic walk-in for Mr. McCain.

Transcending Race or Political Mischief

America has been issued a new challenge in a Democratic Primary election. This new challenge is to distinguish between transcending race and being political astute. Barack Obama has been touted as a new type of politician that transcend race. He gave a speech which was supposedly about race that has been portrayed in the media as one of the most brilliant and historic speeches on race in modern day history. Media elites which are mostly where a lot of people get their opinion has set out on a course to bring greatness to a politician where it has not been warranted in my opinion.

The fact is Mr. Obama’s father was a black man from Kenya that married a white woman from Kansas. Now I would like for someone to explain why that was transcending race. Mr. John Lewis of Georgia said switching his endorsement from Hillary to Barack was a tougher decision than being beat by police during the civil rights struggle. Since Hillary and Bill are such great friends with a black man wouldn’t that go along way in dispelling the need for racial transcending. I’ve had members of my family marry outside the race for well over 40 years, but yet today we are being told we need a candidate that can transcend race. We have been given a false choice by confusing racial and social equality. We must always pursue remedies for racial and civil inequity.

Bill Clinton has been called the first black president. This was based on the fact and notion that people deserved and equal opportunity to realize and be uplifted in all walks of life. This is one of the main reasons that the Clintons became so hated by many. They have refused to go along with extreme liberal policy and extreme yet despicable conservative over reach. They had blacks as everyday advisers and friends. Gave opportunity of advancement to many blacks and women at a time when it wasn’t popular. They attempted to get universal healthcare for all. They went along with the need for welfare reform. For reasons like this they became hated by extreme liberals and conservatives.

There have always been those sitting in wait to destroy Hillary Clinton’s chances of becoming president. So in comes Obama the weapon needed to sabotage her future ambitions. Those persuading Barack to run knew he would attract most of the black vote which was a main voting block needed to gain the Democratic Party’s Nomination. The liberals that hate the Clintons, along with the conservative haters joined forces to make it seem as though a great new movement had been born. Organizations like Move-on .org used entities Myspace and Facebook to reach out to the youth which generated huge crowds at rallies. Congresswomen and Female Senators stated they were influenced by their children to join in on this movement, which is a very scary thought. At a time when we have more college kids going ballistic and presenting mass murder to their classmates. We all know that on our college campuses there is a lot of drinking, drugging, and partying going on, yet our elected officials sees them as an informative source in the shaping of intelligent political fore thought.

In conclusion we are witnessing segregation not Transcending. Blacks are voting overwhelmingly for Obama while Whites are beginning to vote overwhelmingly against. If this trend is considered to be transcending race, I for one want no part of it.

Insurers Dictates Economy

The market and the economy are still on this up and down ride. So are we to believe that this problem is really so simple that an economic stimulus plan or Fed Chair decision can really stem the fears and resolve this problem. The president says the Senate should not tamper with the Bill which was agreed upon by him and the House leaders. The Senate says the house left out to much of the underprivileged, so they must renegotiate certain portions of the legislation. Now we must sit back and wait to see how the floor fight turns out.

The real problem is the insurers and under writers. Many defaulted loans are going uncollected due to the lack of insurance payouts. If you default on a car loan, the financiers are not like to try and repossess the vehicle due to the fact they can no longer due a short sale, or auction and recover the difference from insurance. There are all kinds of government aid programs becoming available to help and get missed or behind mortgage payments moved to the end of loans. Some financiers are even offering plans that would make it seem as though you are current in your payments and just have to pick up making payments as though you have never missed any.

The reason this economy is going to continue down the path of non assurance is directly due to the way this system has been setup for those on top to recoup all losses from insurers. Now we all get to understand that there was no brilliance to the way the executives has been running these companies just the structure of a system soon to fail. Stay cognizant and aware of the direction the legislators, the president, and the Fed decides to be more prudent than expedient.

Clinton Hatred Setting Back Racial Gains

Is this country so hell bent on the Hatred of the Clintons for being inclusive politicians that even black representatives will join the game? Let me start by saying I am a 49 yr old black man born and raised in NC. So you can understand why as a proud black man to see Mr. Clyburn elected as whip in the House of Representatives was a great accomplishment for me. Now he has joined in on the less all try to win the Democrat nomination for Barack Obama crowd, while clearly knowing that the cross over independent and republicans would never vote for him in the fall. The Obama campaign played the race card perfectly and got the white Clinton hating media to go along with it. Leaders like John Lewis and Charles Rangel would not go along with it though. Bob Johnson tried to warn against this nonsense.  Representative Shelia Jackson Lee spoke in favor of the Clintons tonight. Mr. Obama got 80 percent of the black vote in a primary and it has been spun as a win across gender, age, and race. If this is truly what happened then there would be no need for spin. You have some Clinton Haters that stayed out of the Republican primary last week to vote in this week’s Democratic primary as to make it seem as though he won a cross section of the electric to go along with 80 percent black vote.

I am really disappointed with leaders like Mr. Clyburn because I came from the days and times when you had to fight your way through school. When you had to get yesterday pastry and donuts if you wanted to make a purchase at the local Bakery. When you had city slick politicians come through striking the preacher like tone in all their speeches while being backed the whites always being chosen as our representatives. When the Clintons came to prominence it was a wonderful thing because it gave rise to power and expectation to leaders like Harold Ford and Barack Obama. Well what happened to the last great Black cross over candidate Harold Ford he lost his bid for the senate in Tennessee. Make no mistake the same will happen to Mr. Obama Next Fall. I am deeply saddened because I come from a place and time when racism ruled the day, and to here the nonsense from leaders like Elijah Cummings and Jim Clyburn really deeply saddens and takes me back 35 years.

I know this is all about getting rid of the Clintons because these white folks had no business being such nigger lovers. They were such nigger lovers that he has even been called the first black president. We as good white people can not allow these folks to continue. This has been happening for years now and its time for the bullshit to stop. Mr. Obama has even signaled to the media that the racial bullshit is wrong. If he has a better plan or campaign than Hillary then God bless him and his victory, but to try and get him the nomination just to disgrace and get rid of the Clintons is low, racist, pitiful, pathetic, unpatriotic, un-American, an really put in simple terms down right fucked up.

I am a product of the South that lived through racism and to put it plain and simple I am really and truly disgusted and highly pissed at this new reverse racist tactics to further set back the gains of civil rights. While this might work to get rid of Hillary chances to become president and better this country it will not serve to elect a black president.

Economic Deception

Economic Deception

The economy will now become the latest tool in taking everyone’s attention away from the real problem of this country. The major problem is getting rid of the lying politicians and economist who only crave riches. The real reason for the economic stimulus is too make it seem as though these people really have their mind on the pulse of the true suffering of everyday average American. These politicians are shameful and the Democrats going along with this is truly, truly shameful.

It is now time to bring about real change in this country while the opportunity is ripe. We all know that the policies of the Republicans has brought this country to brink of ruin, so why in the name of all things good would the speaker go along with the Minority Leader and the President to lend some sort of credence to their position. The real plan should be to expose them all along with their failings. May be the Democrats do not really want a super majority because then they would have to do exactly what they campaign on doing. This leads to my next point. This is why most of the so called new and moderate democrats are flocking to endorse Obama, they know it would take him at least 2 years to get any semblance of policy and direction started. Hillary and Bill would force tough votes and implement policies which would render the fake phony issues of fear mute.

Congress should come together exposing all those who refuse to accept the new direction this country needs, rendering them all vulnerable in November upcoming election. The Republicans would no doubt be most vulnerable, but do not be fooled there are lots of fake phony Democrats that needs to be exposed. This is a time when all the so called mainstream bloggers should be out showing their independence and true knowledge by bringing this to everyone’s attention so that these clowns can be defeated in the primary and general elections this fall, there by returning this country back to the true owners us. Below are blogs I did back in November forecasting exactly what we are witnessing now. Although I am not an economist or Wall Street mogul common sense would lend to any smart thinking, well versed, well informed individual the realization of the task of which we are facing. Also it would shine sunlight on the challenges and challengers of which we will have to propel across, over an up front to prevail successfully.

Financial and Economic Gaming

Brooklyn, NY 11/2/2007                                                                                             This week the Job and Growth Reports hit the media with a bang.  The report claimed growth of creating 166,000 new jobs, while unemployment remained the same at 4.7. GDP reports growth at a rate of 3.9. The DOW continued it’s up and down ride.  The Economy is reportedly doing very well. With the great economic news being reported, one would expect to see a booming Holiday shopping season.

The Fed Chairman Mr. Benjamin Barnanke cut the rate a quarter point. Most in the economic news world had been forecasting exactly that. Claiming another cut was needed to keep the economy growing at a steady pace. Once the fed chair reported the actual rate cut, the news changed. Economist started to speculate that Mr. Bernanke must be envisioning a looming economic recession. With high gas prices there has to be price increases coming across the board. The stock market had major losses the next day due to the escalating housing problem and increased oil price gains.

I’m not an economist but recent trends would lend to the thought of gaming the system. The GDP number and Job Gains number came in better than expected. Now the news showing are starting to tote this higher than expected growth and a strong vibrant economy. While others are reporting consumer spending to be slowing due to the looming high heating cost. Goods and services prices are on a rise, while the housing foreclosure problem is constantly reportedly getting worse.

There is also reported to be skepticism in Wall Street investors.
Months ago the stock market was in need of a boost to help stop it’s down trend. The fed came to the rescue with a half point cut. The stock market began to once again see daily gains. For many weeks the market constantly reached new record highs. Even when the housing crunch was first reported the market stayed strong. Lenders began to have major problems, but with the economy being so strong and resilient, the market continued to make record gains. The president reported better than expected growth. The growth was so great that the deficit would come in with a lower than expected number.

With all the great news, Wall Street investors should not be skeptics. There should be no looming recession. More rate cuts should not become a necessity. Mr. Bush is giving speeches on how his economic policy has worked to build the strongest economy in 20 years. Growth is much better than the Clinton years. Jobs are constantly being created due to his tax policy. The economy is expected to continue to grow at a better than expected rate.

Well here’s where I see the structure being set to game the system. The real deficit will be higher than expected due to rising oil prices. The economic growth numbers will fall along with the job gains revision. Let’s be real with large companies like Chrysler reporting it has to cut more jobs than expected and other large companies still in negotiations how can there be reported job gains. This great strong growing economy is just a figment of the build George Bush legacy imagination. China basically owns half of America with its debt holdings, while the true debt continues to rise at an alarming rate. Job gains statistics are being used to bolster economic conversation.

Creating $10 dollar an hour jobs to replace $30 an hour jobs does not make for a strong economy or a comfortable means of living. This economy was built on a false premise due to predatory lending, lower interest rates, and cash out refinances. Getting equity out of your home became easy as getting a $500 limit credit card. Consumer buying will soon be at its lowest level in years. The rise in foreclosure is real. People are searching to find ways and means to save their homes. Appraisers did a lot of injustice to society by inflating home prices. A lot of people are facing a disastrous life due to cash out refinancing and home equity loans. There are people stuck with $500,000 mortgages on $350,000 homes. Selling is not an option and refinancing to get cash or equity out is no longer available. Wall Street will survive because there will more rate cuts regardless of what the chairman stated. True numbers on job growth and unemployment will come to light. The administration will be asking for a debt ceiling increase to fund an unnecessary war and budget shortfalls. We the American people will be left on the sideline searching for ways to make ends meet to sustain our lives, while Wall Street and the Government survive by Gaming the system

Why We Should Expect a Recession

 Brooklyn, NY  11/07/07

The stock market has been on a rollercoaster ride lately, closing at 360.9 down in today’s session. General Motors loss a business record $38.9 billion in the third quarter. Crude oil reached a record high moving past $98 before closing lower.

Time Warner Profits drops 54 percent. The housing sub prime borrowing is reported to be worst than expected. You will probably think I’m crazy when I tell you none of the above will be the cause of the recession. Wall Street analyst will not tell you this because it probably has not occurred to them. The brokers, traders, and advisers, probably overlooked this little fact I’m about to unveil unto.

This booming economy has been a propped up phony economy from the start. It had nothing to do with the tax cuts. Once the fed cut rates low enough that the predatory lending could begin, it was the beginning of the Fake booming economy. Goods and services were up due to the new homes being built by contractors and developers. Homeowners made upgrades did repairs and added extensions to their homes funded through refinancing and equity loans. The loans enable the borrowers to add in new vehicles while getting cash out. While this was a good thing for some as we have all come to learn it has been a disaster for most. The list of victims in the sub prime lending debacle grows each and everyday.

While refinancing to a lower rate could be seen as a good thing, the problem was most of these loans came with arms (adjusted rates mortgages). The equity loans only served to force many homeowners into refinancing, and owing more for their property than it’s actually worth. Appraisers had been assessing liberally high value to most properties. While it was a good boost to the economy, it’s also the main reason why we will be in recession by the end of January. The government will run out of ways to hide real numbers on the economy and employment. While the market and big business will not find a fallback available. Congress will try to alleviate the problem. Since this will be a federal election year the president will think he’s aiding the republicans with every use of his veto pen. When actually he will speed up the recession, while making worst the prospect of a short term recovery.
