Generals are now saying that Al Qaeda in Iraq has been so decimated that victory should now be declared. The surge has accomplished its mission. If this is true then we should soon see a major withdrawal of troops from Iraq. President Bush and his Administration stills claims there is no Civil War in Iraq. If Al Qaeda has been defeated and there is no Civil War, then there is no need for us to continue with mass numbers of troops in Iraq.

Mr. Imus is rumored to be returning to the airways, OJ Simpson will be coming into another big Trial extravaganza, Israel is ramping up things in the Mideast, Turkey may soon attack Kurds, and Secretary Rice is again being dispatched overseas to bolster diplomacy. While all the issues deserve some coverage, we can not let it distract away from the most pressing issue at hand, starting a world war by attacking Iran.

Russian President  Putin has already sent the message across our bow do not try and use any of the old Soviet Union territory to try and launch an attack on Iran. Mr. Putin realizes what the Bush Administration is truly plotting. He made it clear that the so called Russian expert Secretary Rice has no clout in speaking to any matter with Russia. He then issued an invite to Iranian President Ahmadinejad, to come and sit down for diplomatic discussions. With what’s happening with Turkey and the Kurds, plus Israel and Syria, there has to be an alarm going off. The making of a world war is being pushed by those who assumed that military might alone, would make all countries and nations around the world conform to our type of Democracy.

Mr. Bush and his Administration have to be checked and made to understand that a world war could be the unintended consequence of attacking Iran. The Congress also has to be checked. Everyone should stay apprised of what legislation in being brought to the floor in the Senate. Senators like Joe Lieberman should not be allowed to bring legislation creating a war under the guides of being independent. Connecticut should stand and call Mr. Lieberman to task. If most Republicans now agree its time to start to bring an end to the Iraqi War. Then those who helped to get him elected as a so-called Independent should inundate his offices with calls, informing him that we want no more war especially a new war with Iran.

Secretary Rice, President Bush, Senator Lieberman, and Vice President Cheney all have to be reigned in, and made to understand the devastation they are about to cause to not just this great nation, but the entire world. Russian President Putin warning is a reason one. Turkey defying our warnings to stay out the Iraqi mess is reason 2. The increasing dissemination of the coalition of the willing is reason 3. Generals preparing to declare victory over Al Qaeda in Iraq is reason 4. Number 5 and the American people are no longer willing to be fooled into another unnecessary War. Please stay diligent American and keep our Government on a tight noose.
